PRIVATE EVENTS IN “THE PARLOR”
The Parlor was created as an oasis for beer enthusiasts. Designed with a speakeasy format in mind, the Parlor is warm, inviting, and begs you to cozy up to the fireplace. The Parlor is available for private event bookings at certain times of the year.
- Completely private space, separate from the main dining area
- Brick-lined fireplace warms the room during the cooler months
- Accommodates up to 70 guests for a cocktail party
- Sound system can be controlled separately to cater to guests’ musical preferences
- The Parlor is a below ground, basement space, and is accessible only from the staircase in the restaurant’s main entrance area.
Although often requested, our outdoor Beer Garden space is not available for private events. Mother nature makes it far too difficult for our staff to plan for outdoor private events that are booked in advance.

The Farmhouse Tap & Grill offers an ever-rotating selection of 30 taps featuring many Vermont breweries such as Hill Farmstead, Lawson’s Finest Liquids, Lost Nation, Trapp and more. Or choose selections from our 150+ bottle program. We offer classic cocktails such as the Old Fashioned Whiskey Cocktail and Manhattans, plus house originals like Mayfly and Elder Law. And an excellent by-the-glass wine program. You may choose to have a hosted bar in which all beverages are added to the host’s check, a cash bar in which guests pay for their own beverages individually, a combination, or ticketed bar set up. We are happy to customize a bar program that works for your individual needs.
The Farmhouse Parlor is available for either a partial rental or a full rental to accommodate the needs of your event. Large parties must be reserved a minimum of 2 weeks in advance. A $250 deposit is required to reserve the room and is 100% refundable up until 14 days prior to the event. 70 person maximum occupancy for Cocktail-Style parties only.
Summer: May 1st – Oct 1st // Available seven days per week
Winter: October 2nd – April 30th // Available Sunday through Thursday
*A partial room rental opens the space to the public at 8:00 pm. You and your guests are welcome to stay past 8:00 pm; however, the room will no longer be private.

- October 5th-10th, Columbus Day Weekend, UVM Alumni/Parents Weekend
